Saint Privat – Poisson Rouge lyrics
French
Quand j’étais petite
J’étais comme une fleur
J’adorais limites
Mais tous ces moment me faisaient peur
J’adore mon poisson rouge
Il m’appelle jour et nuit
Il tourne en rond pour moi
Et je mettais rien pour lui
J’aime mon jardin de roses,
L’odeur me rend heueuse.
C’est le silence qui me parle,
Comme si c’était Charles
Quand on fait l’amour
Il n’y a pas de discours.
Quand on fait l’amour
Il n’y a pas de discours.
Quand on fait l’amour…
Hélas la vie passe vite,
Sans qu’on s’aperçoit.
Je dépasse les limites,
Mais je n’en parle toujours pas.
Je préfère les rites,
Qui contiennent peu de gestes.
Les matiques m’excitent,
Tout ce qui est en rythme.
Tout ce qui se passe vite,
Sans q’on le comprenne.
Tout ce qui se passe vite,
Sans q’on le comprenne.
Sans q’on le comprenne…
English translation
When I was little
I was like a flower
I loved limits
But all these moments scared me
I love my goldfish
He calls me day and night
He goes around in circles for me
And I put nothing for him
I love my rose garden,
The smell makes me happy.
It’s the silence that speaks to me,
As if it were Charles
When we make love
There is no speech.
When we make love
There is no speech.
When we make love …
Alas, life passes quickly,
Without anyone noticing.
I exceed the limits,
But I still don’t talk about it.
I prefer the rites which contain few gestures.
The topics excite me,
All that is in rhythm.
Everything that happens quickly,
Without our understanding.
Everything that happens quickly,
Without our understanding.
Without our understanding …
